1976-1978, age 18-20: Lakehurst, NJ for 6 months of Navy weatherman "A" school; Pearl Harbor's Navy Fleet Weather Central computer center.

1978-1981, age 20-23: Full-time musician in San Diego, California, playing drums and singing 4-6 nights/week, from 9pm-1:30am.
