High School Newspaper Cartoons
In high school I was Lee Steinbach
(during those years I used my step-dad's last name,
before changing it back to the original Godden later
on), Illustrations Editor and Reporter for The
Blue and Gold, the student-published newspaper of
David Glasgow Farragut High School in Rota, Spain. From
these cartoons you can see that my warped mind was
already a little twisted.

Early High School Doodlings
While age 15 and 16, before working
on the high school newspaper staff, I doodled constantly
while in school. (Maybe I should have been paying better
attention to the teacher.) I loved drawing complex
mazes, but most of the drawings were
related to my "fantasy cars." You can see the faint
notebook paper lines below.
